Randy Brown
While leading the vision for Rowntree Gardens’ future growth, Randy is committed to upholding our original mission and Christian values: To enhance the quality of life and meet the changing needs of people through all seasons of life with compassion, devotion and guidance from God. A seasoned executive, Randy prefers to spend his time walking through our community and talking with people. He is proud of the family atmosphere and culture of compassion the staff have created. In his free time, Randy enjoys, woodworking, hiking and walks with his wife of 30 years.

Glenda Jacobs
Glenda joined the Rowntree Gardens family in 2005 as a food server. In that time, her genuine love and respect for the community members she serves has continued to grow along with her responsibilities. Currently, Glenda oversees the daily operations of the administrative office as well as the community activities department. She recognizes the strength and wisdom of the people who call Rowntree Gardens home, and enjoys learning from their life experiences. A certified administrative assistant, Glenda holds a RCFE Administrator’s License and is completing her B.S. in Business. She finds inspiration from her family, including her young son, as well as the Rowntree community.

A member of the Rowntree Garden’s family since 2004, Randy oversees community member services and assists at our Heartwood Chapel. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, and is a certified Residential Care for the Elderly Administrator. He believes that what sets Rowntree Gardens apart is the staff’s heartfelt and genuine care for our community members. In addition to the delicious food we serve here at Rowntree Gardens, Randy enjoys the joy and laughter shared by the staff and community members.

Terry Martinez
Terry has been with Rowntree Gardens since 1998. She oversees community services for our Acacia Independent and The Cedars Assisted Living areas, and is committed to the safety and well-being of our community members. With over 20 years experience working with seniors, Terry is a Certified Residential Care for the Elderly Administrator. She is extremely proud of the staff at Rowntree Gardens, who look at their work here not as a job but as a higher calling.

John Mosqueda
Pastor John has been a familiar face as a regular speaker at our Heartwood Chapel since 2008. Now we welcome him as our full-time pastor. John understands that the spiritual wellbeing of community members and staff is just as important as their physical health. Through chapel services, prayer meetings, and a range of other activities, John connects our community members in fellowship and faith. Since earning his master of divinity more than 20 years ago, John has served as the senior pastor for two congregations. He is now pleased to serve as pastor for Rowntree Gardens, a community that thrives on love and respect for others. When not meeting the spiritual needs of his congregants, John can be found cheering on the L.A. Dodgers and Lakers — two teams he’s been following since he was a boy.

Roz George
Roz joined our family in 2007 as the front desk receptionist. Today, she works closely with our new community members and families, introducing them to the wide range of services, amenities and activities available to help them feel at home. During their first few weeks and months at Rowntree Gardens, she makes sure all their questions are answered and their needs are being met. She also helps our community members transition to different levels of care. An avid gardener, she enjoys the beautiful grounds of our community and stopping to chat with the people she encounters.

Claudia Acosta
Claudia joined Rowntree Gardens in 1997. In that time, she rose from food server to Food Service Director responsible for our dietary department. In that role, Claudia plans and manages Rowntree Garden’s dietary budget, oversees catering events, and hires and manages all food service personnel. Under her direction, our food service staff has received high marks from our community members for the quality of our food and the service of our people. Claudia has an associate degree in Food Service Management, is a Certified Dietary Manager, and is ServeSafe certified.

Zina Quigley
Zina joined the Rowntree Gardens family in 1996. As our Director of Marketing, she develops and implements marketing and sales strategies that connect more people and families to the services and care available at Rowntree Gardens. A familiar face around our community, Zina is always available to answer questions, give a personally guided tour, ask how somone is feeling, and find out what she can do to brighten a day. She loves being part of our special community, and working with a staff that is dedicated to providing the highest level of care. She takes strength from her faith, and from her son who is also her biggest source of pride.

Melinda Marston
As Rowntree Gardens’ Human Resources Director, Melinda is committed to fostering a culture where employees are encouraged to be a daily blessing to all they encounter. Prior to joining the Rowntree family, Melinda served 20 years as the human resources director for a hospice care organization. There she learned the value of compassion and kindness in caring for people. She now focuses on building a caring and compassionate workplace where staff can grow as people and professionals. A mother of four, Melinda enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as her second family at Rowntree Gardens.
Facility Services Director Alejandro Perez

Alejandro Perez
Alejandro Perez brings more than 15 years experience as a maintenance supervisor for skilled nursing and senior living communities. At Rowntree Gardens, Alejandro oversees all facility maintenance, renovations, and security to ensure our community offers a safe, attractive, and welcoming environment. Along with the daily challenges of keeping our community looking beautiful and operating smoothly, Alejandro enjoys interacting with the community members and their families. When not being a perfectionist at Rowntree, he can be found cheering on his favorite soccer team Cruz Azul, and spending time with his family, dogs and Freddy, his desert tortoise.
