We are hiring a Housekeeper to join our Facility Services Department.

POSITION PURPOSE: Provides routine and special cleaning services throughout Rowntree Gardens. Vacuum, spot clean areas, mopping and waxing floors, empty trash in offices and restrooms.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Routine cleaning of offices (carpet cleaning, waxing floors, mopping, dusting, scrubbing, disinfecting, etc.) assigned and general areas within the Facility.
• Routine and special cleaning of all bathrooms used by resident, employees, and visitors.
• Routine and special cleaning of all public and common use areas within the main building.
• Removes curtains, drapes and dividers for cleaning.
• Disposes of waste and trash.
• Assist in the receiving and distribution of all laundry to the laundry facility.
• Routine folding of linen, loading and unloading washers and dryers.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Full-time: (AM Shift)- days to be determined with supervisor

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

• Custodial and cleaning experience preferred
• Skills in operating custodial cleaning equipment and tools
• Knowledge of solution, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies
• Friendly and professional demeanor
• Must have conversational level of English
