We are looking for a Driver/Central Supply Personnel that will fit the Rowntree Gardens Community.   • Provide daily transportation for community members as indicated on the schedule provided by the transportation coordinator.
  • Ensures Resident's Safety/Customer service by:
    • aiding resident in transfers in and out of vehicles
    • escorting them to the office/location
    • checking resident in at the office
    • accompanying the resident when needed
    • providing any other services
  • Pick up resident medications from local pharmacies.
  • Pick up resident medical records such as x-ray films and test results.
  • Drop off any patient laboratory needs (i.e., urine specimen/COVID-19 swabs)
  • Initiate, monitor, distribute and record all medical transportation charges.
  • Responsible for maintaining the upkeep of the vehicle(s) under the Business Auto Safety Program, including but not limited to washing the vehicle, keeping the vehicle full of gas, and cleaning the interior on a regular basis.
  • Inspects vehicle to check for any malfunctions or deficiencies and reports immediately to the Supervisor.
  • Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act in a calm manner when there is an emergency.
Central Supply: 
  • Receives order, reviews merchandise and checks billing of lading. Distributes supplies to the following departments: Clinic, Gardens Memory Care Center, and Elmwood Care Center.
  • Restock all Elmwood Care Center Rooms with briefs, gloves, and wipes.
  • Check and clean storage rooms.
  • Check sharp containers and empty as needed.
  • Examine and clean any equipment in Utility room including Oxygen Concentrators, Nebulizer machines, etc.
  • Full-time  
    •  Monday-Friday business hours, may include weekends 
  • Holds and maintains a current California Driver's License, class C.
  • Maintains a clean driving record with no traffic violations.
  • Must be 25 years or older.
  • Familiar and able to navigate the geographic area involved.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service.
  • Must have a pleasant, friendly personality, possess a professional appearance and demeanor, and have good sound judgement for safe driving.
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., at rush hour).
  • Requires regular interaction with community members.
Due to California State regulations, we are required to have all of our applicants pass a Background Check, Physical, and TB test.
